Dia de Los Muertos, on November 1st, marks the opening of heaven's gates for departed children.  Originating from a 3500 year old Aztec tradition, Day of the Dead blends Catholic and indigenous beliefs.  Sugar skulls, born from 17th century Italian missionaries, became iconic symbols.  Crafted with sugar, lemonjuice, and water, they represent the sweetness of life and seve as offerings for appreciation and remembrance.  A beautiful blend of history, sweetness and cultural fusion.

Trovelore brooches are made to order in small batches.  The process is low on waste, with no overruns and excesses.  They choose to be slow, small and unique.

Handmade in India using Cotton, Felt, Metal and Beads.
